The operation started in 2016 when the oldest in the family showed his first pig. Since then, the family has been breeding pigs with the help and guidance of their mentor Daniel Davis. “Our son, Cameron, takes all of the money he earns at the fair and puts it back into the program,” says Jamie Preciado. The Preciado family has set many goals for their operation, including participating in The Debut!Other goals include producing the best animals possible while improving year after year and being competitive on a national stage. They would also like to expand the operation a little bit every year and potentially even offer semen on their boars in the future.
