Penn and his family focus on raising high-quality show pigs and in the last few years they have also sent their upper end boars to house at The Stud. Penn always knew he wanted to raise show pigs, a passion instilled in him by his father. Penn grew up showing pigs and his father was always a key part to his success and there to encourage him along the way. “My dad got me started raising pigs when I was a kid and has encouraged me ever since,” says Penn. The primary goal and focus of Penn’s Club Pigs is to raise elite quality show pigs that have the potential and capability to compete at all levels, even the national level. Kyle hopes to continue to focus on quality and improve their set of pigs available for sale year after year. If possible, it is a long term goal for Kyle and his family to start a boar stud of their own to highlight their genetics. “It’s a dream to someday have our own boar stud where we could sell semen out of high-quality boars and help highlight the best genetics and create some promotion for our show pigs,” claims Penn.
